Who we are

Cosechia is a division of ClearBenefits.ca Inc. (“Cosechia”, “we”, “us”), based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We generate and sell verified business-to-business (B2B) insurance leads and provide related lead-generation services.

Scope

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our lead-generation activities, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s PIPEDA and applicable provincial private-sector laws, including those of Alberta and British Columbia.

Information we collect

For business enquiries and leads, we collect limited business-contact details: name, business email, business phone, company, role, province, employee-count range, current benefits/plan status, and renewal timing.

For consent and compliance, we record the source, date, channel, the exact consent wording and version, a timestamp, and opt-out status for each contact.

For website operation, we collect standard technical and analytics data (for example, pages viewed and general location) through cookies and similar tools.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as employee health, medical, prescription, income, or census data at the lead stage.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and provide the information, sample, or service you request; to generate, qualify, and deliver compliant B2B leads; to provide our lead-generation services; to send resources or marketing where you have consented; and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations.

Consent

Where required, we rely on your express consent, captured on an unbundled, unchecked opt-in. In some cases we may rely on implied consent (for example, an existing business relationship or a recent enquiry) or on the business-contact exception, consistent with CASL and PIPEDA.

You may withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time; we process opt-outs promptly and within the timelines the law requires.

How we share leads — important

Our business model includes selling verified B2B leads. Where you have provided a business-contact lead, we may share or sell that lead to Cosechia’s affiliated advisors (including ClearBenefits.ca) and to partner licensed advisors or buyers, so they can contact you about the insurance line you asked about.

Buyers receive leads under written agreements that require them to be appropriately licensed, to use the lead only for the stated line and purpose, to honour opt-outs and applicable calling and messaging rules, and not to resell or re-share the lead. The consent we capture is scoped to allow contact by Cosechia and/or a partner licensed advisor.

Other disclosures

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, CRM, email, analytics, and hosting providers) under confidentiality and data-protection terms, and where required to comply with law or protect our rights. We do not sell website analytics data.

Retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. Some service providers may store data outside your province or Canada; where that occurs, the information remains subject to appropriate protections and may be accessible to authorities in those jurisdictions.

Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and may withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. To exercise a right, contact hello@cosechia.com.

If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your provincial regulator (for example, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, or the Information and Privacy Commissioners of Alberta or British Columbia).
